Zagouri Empire
I took part in the latest season of Zaguri Imperia as a Compositor.
I often describe this kind of work as invisible craftsmanship, when compositing is done well, you don’t notice that anything was added, removed, or altered. The goal is serve the story without drawing attention to the work itself.
In one of the scenes, my task was to transform footage originally shot in Eilat and make it appear as if it had been filmed in Be’er Sheva. This involved removing the visible mountains from the background and redesigning the environment to match the visual character of the city. To create a more authentic Be’er Sheva atmosphere, I added older style buildings and carefully adjusted the surroundings to reflect the local urban feel.
This process required extensive rotoscoping work.
In another scene, a television in the background was turned on, and I was asked to digitally switch it off as part of the visual cleanup and continuity process.
In an additional scene, the television in the background was turned on, and I was asked to digitally switch it off as part of the visual cleanup and continuity work.
